The multilingual phenomenon in the literary work of Yasmina Khadra
Main Article Content
Abstract
The reflection that guides this article is part of literary plurilingualism. In this
regard, literary work is commonly marked by multilingualism due to the contact of
languages. It is also in this perspective that we have chosen to work on the works Le sel
de tous les oublis (2020), L'olympe des infortunes (2024) and Cœur –d'amande (2024)
by Yasmina Khadra. To do this, we adopt a descriptive and analytical approach in order
to identify the processes implemented to integrate this linguistic phenomenon.
Obviously, this phenomenon results from an internal variation of a language on the one
hand, or from the coexistence of several languages, contributing to the overall dynamics
of the novel.
