Globalization has profoundly impacted the landscape of religion, initiating an epoch of unparalleled interconnectedness and cultural interchange. Rooted in the annals of human history, religion has been a dynamic force, evolving ceaselessly to adapt to the shifting historical and socio-economic milieu. Once confined by geographical boundaries, religious practices now traverse borders, propelled by remarkable advancements in technology and communication. This global dissemination of information has sparked heightened awareness of diverse religious beliefs, fostering dialogue and collaboration among adherents of various faiths. Consequently, this has led to the diversification of religious sects and the emergence of entirely novel belief systems. Within Vietnam, religion mirrors this dynamic nature, as evidenced by fluctuating trends encompassing secularization, nationalization, pluralism, modernization, and the emergence of new faiths. Grounded in historical and socio-economic contexts, the analysis of religious dynamics explores the intricate interplay between tradition and modernity, elucidating how religious practices are shaped by globalization, technological progress, and contemporary challenges. Through tailored recommendations for state management in Vietnam, the study aspires to safeguard the freedom of belief, preserve cultural heritage, and promote societal stability amid the evolving religious landscape and the complex realities of the global stage.
