Main Article Content
Abstract
The most dangerous thing facing the individual is the crisis of identity, which is the
result of conflict between religions, especially the colonizer countries looking for making a
deep discrepancy within their colonies for destroying their social constructions and systems
so that their cultural construction would change, and they become strange within their lands
through eradicating their identities’ features and destroying their historical, national and
religious symbols. The real example of that conflict is the conflict between Palestine and the
Zionistic entity. It isn’t only a political conflict, it’s rather a conflict of different religions
including Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Its objective is to create a cultural gap and a crisis
of identity, which makes a division within the Palestinian society, which would deteriorate its
identity and belonging.
This research paper looks for revealing the hidden things within the creative ego, which
proves its belonging and oath to its homeland. It devotes its arms to defend its issue with its
resistant cultural intellectual literature with its national language, which is the slogan of its
identity and nationality. We mention the Palestinian committed poetry, with its national
dimensions, through which the policy of humiliation, genocide, the cultural eradication and
the psychological corruption is reflected, from one hand, and a call for struggle is declared,
from another hand. The rebellious literature against the Judaization policy and its Zionistic
entity with its culture full of otherness aiming at destroying the Arab Palestinian identity
features and isolating it from its original culture. So, the ego, aware of its cultural identity,
looks for freedom through challenging another culture against enemy through strengthening
the national feeling, mobilizing inspiration and awakening the anesthetized consciousnesses
to achieve freedom and independence. To what extent does the contemporary poetry
contribute to consolidate the Palestinian identity?. How is the creative ego represented those
results?. How could it maintain its identity, considering the fact that it’s a part from a group,
without being satisfied with a multiplication or an alternate ?.
