The School Dramatic Text: Between Linguistic Correction and Human Development
Main Article Content
Abstract
School theater plays a prominent role in shaping the student's personality in all its aspects; This
is achieved through the roles students assume or the characters they interact with. One of the
most prominent components of a student's personality is their linguistic ability, given the
noticeable decline in the language performance of schoolchildren, and even university students.
Therefore, it is essential to pay attention to and focus on this aspect. In this presentation, we will
demonstrate the role of school theater in developing students proficient in their language—
speaking, writing, and improvisation—through two key elements:
First: Educational (dramatic) theater and its role in reinforcing the rules of the Arabic language,
where the student immerses themselves in the Arabic sentence.
Second: Improvisation in other plays and its role in refining language skills and overcoming
various obstacles.
