Abstract

The objective of this article is to establish whether the Social Economy and Endogenous Development are an alternative to reduce the deprivations associated with multidimensional poverty in the municipality of Repelón Atlántico. For this purpose, data from DANE, DNP (Kit Territorial) on multidimensional poverty, education, health, housing, basic sanitation and economy among other variables were used. It was concluded that effectively with the structuring of social economy initiatives and taking advantage of the potential of the territory, the deprivations of multidimensional poverty in the municipality can be overcome, taking into account the results presented in different experiences in Latin American and Caribbean countries.
