Abstract

This article analyses the interactions between human and ChatGPT 3.5 focusing on discussions surrounding the controversial topic of sex robots. The study aims to uncover the linguistic, social, and ethical dimensions inherent in addressing sensitive subjects through AI-mediated communication. With advancements in AI technology bringing models like GPT 3.5 and GPT 4.0 to the forefront of digital communication, their ability to generate human-like text has prompted significant discussion on their impact across various societal aspects.


Specifically, the use of ChatGPT to discuss the topic of sex robots provides a unique lens for exploring the interaction between technological capabilities and ethical considerations in human–AI interaction. This research assesses ChatGPT 3.5’s responses to prompts related to sex robots, evaluating the AI’s s adherence to ethical guidelines, its linguistic handling of sensitive subjects, and the societal implications of its output. Through a methodology grounded in prompt analysis and response evaluation, the study examines how ChatGPT deals with the challenges of discussing sensitive and explicit content within predefined ethical boundaries.


This paper contributes to the ongoing dialogue on the responsible development and application of AI technologies, highlighting the need for continued enhancements in AI’s ethical programming to better balance informational accuracy with ethical integrity.
